ACLEDA Bank, one of the largest banks in Cambodia, together with KESS INNOVATION Plc yesterday announced the official launch of a fund transfer service and cardless cash deposit and withdrawal in order to widely serve to the needs of customers.

President and Group Managing Director of ACLEDA Bank In Channy said that ACLEDA Bank Plc is delighted to be a strategic partner with KESS.

He added this agreement will enable both ACLEDA and KESS to broadly expand their fund transfer service and cardless cash deposits and withdrawals throughout country and to enhance the development and usage of financial technology (fintech) to be even more convenient, effective, efficient and safe.

“Meanwhile, the purpose of the cooperation is to ease customers in doing transactions and fund transfers between the core banking services of ACLEDA Bank and the e-wallet accounts of KESS, fund transfers between the ACLEDA ToanChet account and the KESS e-wallet accounts, cardless cash deposits and withdrawals from e-wallet accounts of KESS at ACLEDA’s ATMs,” Channy said.

He added that the cooperation service will enable customers to save time, reduce costs in making fund transfers and cardless cash deposits and withdrawals which will strengthen and expand most digital services to facilitating customers’ cash transactions and improving living standards.

Executive Chairman of KESS Pes Kimsrean said that he is delighted to be a strategic partner with ACLEDA Bank.

He said that after three years of hard work, they believe the market is now mature enough to use its flagship product, KESS CHAT.  This connects local farmers, consumers and vendors to suppliers, accepts Wechat, Alipay, Visa, MasterCard and the ACLEDA ATM card.

“It’s all on one platform including multi-vendors, inventory management, delivery services, paying your electricity and water bills, chatting with friends and vendors,” Kimsrean said.
