RHB Bank (Cambodia) Plc has introduced an initiative called goWave by RHB. It’s a holistic digital content platform designed to further boost financial literacy amongst Cambodian young adults through useful bite-sized articles, video capsules and financial tools spread across the digital space including through its website as well as on various social media platforms.

The goWave by RHB initiative guides, facilitates and empowers young Cambodians towards achieving their financial goals. It is being rolled out in three phases – starting with the goWave by RHB website. This will be followed by the goWave Lite Mobile App that provides improved banking system integration and, finally, the provision of a full suite of digital banking products completing our holistic service offering for our young Cambodians,” said Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of RHB Bank Cambodia Wong Kee Poh.

Positioned as a one-stop personal finance hub, goWave by RHB allows users to interact with an automated chatbot through Facebook providing them with latest updates on website, digital media, and relevant reading recommendations. Additionally, virtual workshops would also be held by social media key opinion leaders to discuss interesting and useful financial topics.

“This initiative addresses a long-term view towards preparing our younger generation, providing them the education, tools and solutions needed for them to make better financial decisions throughout their adult lives,” added Wong.
