Almost 3 million tonnes of Cambodia agricultural products exported during first seven months

Cambodia exported a total of 2.689.685 tonnes of agricultural products to foreign markets during the first seven months of this year, despite the global COVID-19 crisis.

Report from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries shows that the exported agricultural products included rice, cassava, cashew nuts, corn, bean, banana, pomelos, mangos, pepper, chili, and so on.

Cambodia’s main agricultural products exported in the mentioned period include some 426.000 tonnes of rice, more than 1.5 million tonnes of cassava, nearly 200.000 tonnes of cashew nuts, more than 140.000 tonnes of corn, nearly 170.000 tonnes of fresh bananas, some 50.000 tonnes of mangos, over 40.000 tonnes of chili, and 3,430 tonnes of pepper.

The Kingdom’s agricultural markets include China, EU, ASEAN countries, India, Japan, Korea, Russia, Australia and some other countries. Phal Sophanith – AKP
