The COVID-19 pandemic has not hampered the tourism sector and rural development in Cambodia.
Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, made the remarks in a message posted on his official Facebook page.
The Premier continued that in 2020 the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) will celebrate the World Tourism Day under the theme “Tourism and rural Development”.
The Kingdom of Cambodia will mark this annual event across the country on Oct. 3, he added.
The Prime Minister took the opportunity to appeal yet again to the people to continue to take care of their health to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country. C. Nika – AKP
