“After the flood victims received emergency assistance from the government, the work of rehabilitating crops was also carried out immediately to save the farmers’ livelihoods,” he said.

According to the ministry, the government has distributed more than 6,500 tonnes of rice seeds to 65,780 families so far. The ministry plans to distribute an additional 2,000 tonnes of rice seeds to farmers.
