Three new investment projects with a total investment capital of US$7.9 million have received the green light from the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
According to the CDC’s press release yesterday, the new projects are expected to create 2,100 jobs.
Under the approved projects, a garment and two footwear factories will be built in the capital of Phnom Penh.
Such investments amid COVID-19 outbreak demonstrate the confidence of foreign investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability though threatened by the pandemic. AKP
