GC Life Insurance PLC. (GC Life), the life insurance company with a mission to enrich people’s lives, and E-Money Payment Solutions PLC. (eMoney), one of the leading mobile financial service providers, have entered into a strategic partnership and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 24.

The representatives of the MoU signing ceremony were Michael Tee, CEO of GC Life and Vu Tuan Long, General Director of eMoney. The anticipated collaboration between GC Life and eMoney is expected to bring significant value to the financial sector to increase the insurance penetration rate and density in Cambodia, officials said.

One of the key objectives for this strategic partnership is to bring better and faster premium collection services to GC Life’s customers through eMoney’s payment gateway and their agent network across Cambodia to offer an additional payment option. Concurrently, the strategic partnership aims to promote GC Life’s digital insurance products through eMoney’s platforms to drive financial inclusion and benefit the Cambodian people, officials added.

GC Life’s technical team is comprised of experts from around the world. Since its inception in 2017, GC Life has been on a mission to enrich people’s lives by pioneering the development of the most attractive and flexible life insurance products and personalising every aspect of the customer experience.

eMoney’s services include money transfers, bill payments and phone top-ups. Customers can use its service through eMoney application or through a network of more than 8,000 agents nationwide.
